1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Lunify (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) handles your information. We built Lunify on one principle: what happens in your subconscious stays between you and the stars.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data is collected, how it is used, how long it is retained, and how you can request deletion.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information stored ONLY on your device (never sent to us):

• Your dream journal entries (dream text, interpretations, emotions, dates)
• Your coin balance and transaction history
• Your streak and daily usage data
• Your selected theme and app preferences
• Your username (if set)
• Your PIN lock (if enabled)
• Your guidance archive messages
• All app settings, flags, and counters

2.2 Information sent to our servers ONLY for processing:

• Dream text: sent to our AI backend solely to generate an interpretation. It is processed in real time and is NEVER stored on our servers.
• Guidance requests: anonymized requests sent to generate daily cosmic guidance messages. No personal identifiers are attached.

2.3 Information collected by third-party services:

• Google Play Billing: purchase tokens and product IDs are sent to Google and our verification backend to confirm in-app purchases. We do not store payment card details.
• Google AdMob: if you choose to watch rewarded ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Authentication: used solely to verify purchase tokens. We do not require account creation and no personal profile is stored.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Dream text is used exclusively to generate your interpretation and is discarded immediately after. It is never stored, shared, or used for training AI models.
• Purchase information is used to verify and grant in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• No personal data is used for advertising, profiling, or sold to any third party.

4. Data Retention

• All dream journal data, guidance messages, coins, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device only.
• This data is retained until you delete it manually (via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Dreams or Reset App) or until you uninstall the app.
• Dream text sent for AI interpretation is not retained on our servers. It is processed in real time and immediately discarded.
• Purchase verification records may be retained by Google Play in accordance with their policies.

5. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data at any time:

• Delete all dreams: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Dreams
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

If you wish to request deletion of any server-side data (purchase verification records), please contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We share data only in these limited cases:

• With Google Play to verify purchases (purchase token only)
• With our AI backend to process dream interpretations (dream text only, immediately discarded after processing)
• As required by law

7. Children's Privacy

Lunify is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

All data stored on your device is protected by your device's built-in security. Dream text transmitted to our servers uses HTTPS encryption. We do not store sensitive personal data on our servers.

9. Third-Party Services

Lunify integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
